Sunshine Habits
Sunshine Habits Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
Sunshine Habits is a personal habit tracker. It does not require an account and does not use advertising, app analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
Stored records
Habit titles, schedules, notification preferences and completion records are stored on your device. When iCloud is available, records can sync through your private iCloud database. The developer does not access your private habit records. Apple account and iCloud settings control this storage.
The app and its widgets share an on-device store. The first release does not read or write HealthKit data.
Permissions and sharing
Notification permission is requested only when you choose to enable reminders. Habit tracking remains available if you decline. You can change permission in iOS Settings.
CSV export is initiated by you. You choose where to save or share the file. It contains habit and completion records, so check the destination before sharing. Import reads only a file you select.
Retention and deletion
Archived habits remain until you restore or delete them. Deleted habits can be restored or permanently removed in the app. Items deleted more than 30 days ago are removed when the app next starts. Deletion can sync through iCloud. Removing the app does not necessarily remove iCloud records or CSV copies you exported.
Support and this website
If you email support, the email service processes your address and message to respond. Send only the details needed for your question; you do not need to include sensitive habit records or a full CSV backup.
This policy describes the app. Optional website analytics is covered by the website privacy notice.
