Milestone
Milestone Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 25, 2026
ssunm provides Milestone for iPhone and iPad with Pro subscriptions and a one-time purchase. This Privacy Policy explains device and private iCloud storage, product analytics, and purchase processing.
Information stored in Milestone
Milestone stores the milestones you create, including titles, notes, dates, emoji, images, tracker history, care completion history, and archive state. This content stays on your device and, when iCloud is available, may synchronize through Apple’s private CloudKit database. The app does not send this content to ssunm, Amplitude, RevenueCat, or Superwall.
Product analytics
Milestone uses Amplitude in a dedicated Milestone project to understand product usage and improve reliability. Product analytics may include:
- A random app-install device identifier and basic technical context such as app version, device model, operating-system version, and language;
- Product interactions such as launches, screen views, tracker creation, editing, restart, care completion, archive, delete, and widget actions;
- Coarse location as declared by the Amplitude SDK privacy manifest. Milestone disables IP-derived country, city, DMA, region, carrier, manufacturer, and IDFV collection and does not request location permission.
Milestone sends only manually defined events to Amplitude, including paywall displays and purchase or restore outcomes. It does not use Amplitude automatic capture, advertising identifiers, ATT, cross-app tracking, or data sales. Titles, notes, dates, emoji, photos, CloudKit records, tracker UUIDs, URLs, and raw errors are never included in these events. Analytics is enabled by default for product improvement; turn it off at any time in Settings. Turning it off stops usage events sent by the app to Amplitude and Superwall.
Purchases and paywalls
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription information, restores purchases, and verifies Pro access using an anonymous app user identifier. Superwall uses the same identifier to display paywalls and receives subscription status, technical SDK context, and a predefined paywall entry point. When analytics is enabled, Superwall also collects paywall interaction events for presentation rules and experiments. Turning analytics off disables Superwall SDK usage-event tracking; paywall delivery and RevenueCat purchase verification still operate. Separately, RevenueCat forwards purchase, renewal, cancellation, expiration, and refund events to Superwall for subscription and transaction reporting. These server events include the anonymous app user identifier, product and transaction identifiers, and purchase status and amounts; they are not disabled by the app analytics switch. Milestone does not send record titles, dates, notes, or photos to either service.
Analytics access and deletion
The app’s Settings screen can copy the Amplitude device identifier. To request access or deletion, email support@ssunm.app with that identifier. ssunm verifies the request, looks up the identifier in Amplitude, and submits the deletion through Amplitude’s privacy process. Do not send milestone titles, notes, dates, photos, or CloudKit records in a request.
Support email
If you contact support, your email address and message may be processed by the email provider so we can respond. We do not use support messages for advertising.
International processing and retention
Amplitude, RevenueCat, Superwall, and email providers may process information outside your country of residence. Analytics, purchase, and support information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve Milestone or respond to a request, then deleted or de-identified according to the provider’s policies. For purchase or paywall data requests, contact the support address below; do not include payment card details.
Sharing and sale
ssunm does not sell personal information. We do not share Milestone content with third parties except where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, and safety.
Children’s privacy
Milestone is not directed to children under 14, and ssunm does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
Changes and contact
We will post changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@ssunm.app.
